Everyone (All Grades)
Time: 6:30pm
The Spring Concert will feature the Fifth Grade Beginning Band playing: "Yankee Doodle", "San Simeon Overture", and a tune yet to be determined.
The Intermediate Band will be presenting "Ming Court", "Crown and Scepter" and "Selections from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".
Our Advanced Band will be playing a very unusual tune inspired by the New Age movement in music. "Echoes of Time" explores the mixture of the whispering human voice, various hand percussion instruments, and recorders to create an ambiance which transcends time. Closing the Advanced Band section of the concert will be Selections from "Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith".
Returning from tour, the "Famous" Woodwind Choir will be playing a selection of your favorite hymns. During this portion of the program, vocalist Cindy Grizzle will sing His praises with the Woodwind Choir.
Closing our 2006 Spring Concert will be our Jazz Band jiving to the beat of three seperate styles. Celebrating rock and roll, we'll be playing one of our favorites, "Jammin' with Charlie". Introducing the swing style will be "My Dinner with Ronald". Cosing our program we'll move to the bossa beat of "Bossa Blue".
