HAPPY 2009!

     I hope everyone had a great Holiday! It was so good to see the kids today! They were so excited! We are starting a lot of new things in the New Year. This week we will have our first Spelling Test on Friday and we start our new Reading books too!

Here is what we will be learning this week…

*Religion~ “The Catch of Fish” (Luke 3:1-11)

*Memory~ I have had God’s help to this very day. Acts 26”22

*Spelling ~ cat, bat, rat, sat, hat, fat, *flat, *splat

*Math~ calendar (months & days of the week), money, time

*Reading~ reviewing the alphabet & Short vowels

* Handwriting ~ Letters Aa, Bb, Cc, & Dd

* Social Studies & Science~ Martin Luther King Jr. Penguins, Polar Bears, and weather
